....HAVE FAITH IN GOD.
Do we have faith in God or in some-one (thing) else? Your answer may be, 'surely I have faith in God', but think about it for a moment. It's like asking, "Do you know God or You know about Him?"
You see, when the light is out and the worship leader, pastor and all the saints have gone their way after the Sunday morning service. When that worship that causes you to have goosebumps and you know for sure that God is here, is not available and you are alone, with that bill to pay, with that nice guy that is everything you hoped for but just wants you guys to move the relationship to the next level (his bed), when you need 100k like yesterday or a new job like forever, when all your boss does is nag you and that flat mate is just plum annoying, when you've had that nagging thought since forever to give away that car but you hold on to it cause you'll walk (and others will think or even say how foolish you are) if you give it out. When the pressures come and you need to pray but praying just seems like a waste of time...... and on and on and on.......
Do you know for sure that, God is real, He is with you and He is faithful? Even before I learnt about His faithfulness, I made up my mind a long time ago to stick it out with Him, not to ask WHY?, get angry with Him and throw tantrums, but to stay with Him, and trust the integrity of His word (Heb 6:18) because, He is faithful (2 Tim 2:13) and trust Him that everything will work out fine.
Beloved, the only thing in the devil's CV is deceit (Eph 6:11), and he'll put you through a lot of pressure so your eyes is off God and His word. You see, you have over come him (the devil - Rev 12:11) and he knows that when you stay with God, your victories are sure, so he plants confusions.
Faith in God is of the heart and not so much about the activities you put up for others to admire. God sees our heart and honors accordingly. When pressures come, HAVE FAITH IN GOD... and SAY, you'll surely SEE... (Rom 10:17)
